Polónia na RTP Internacional
Posted by Tiagowski on December 10th, 2006

Hello!
(don’t understand portuguese but it is just the last word of this post
lol)
)
What’s wrong with my city, Poznań????
I came here by change.. just following the blogs from blogspot.com
Pozdrowienia… Boa noite!
PS. I hate Biedronka… I prefer Lewiatan
hehehe

Eh! Eh! There’s nothing wrong about Poznań – I have lived there for 6 months (4 years ago) and I loved it! I just wrote that the images from Poznań were my favorite part of this video clip…
By the away, I also wrote that in Portugal we often only hear how successful “Biedronka” is and that it is rarely mentioned what most polish people think about it! You say that you hate it and this is basically what I hear from the vast majority of the people I ask…
PS – You can use Google language tools to “kind of” read what is written about Poland on this website. Try this: http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sitedotiago.com&langpair=pt%7Cen&hl=en&safe=off&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&prev=%2Flanguage_tools

Olá, Hola, Cześć, Ahoj, Privet Tiagowski again!
.. Portuguese video sounds great ;P “Poland is the biggest partner of Portugal in the Central Europe”.. wooow how nice
) I’ve been there in September.. awesome! [yeah but for sure Poznań is better than dirty Warszawa
LOL]
żabka sounds freaky, isn’t it? ;p ~ Brzęczyszczykiewicz is the best of course hehe but don’t worry if u can’t say it.. there r lots of portuguese words I’m not able to say… e.g. forest fruits – don’t even remember how it was but in Portugal they had a lot of fun when I was trying to repeat it
))
Ok, I have read it in enlish, thx
hmm… Do u think Poznań is so cool, why? I’d say that Lisboa is much, much better
Why do people here r so interested in Poland? I don’t get it hehehe.. (mainly I talk about these blogs).
In Poland we’ve got also lots of Żabka shops http://www.zabka.pl/ – have u seen it?? the competitor of Bierdonka… yea, it was a big attraction for my portuguese friend during visit
Ok, Have a nice day then!
JESZCZE TU WRÓCĘ!!!
Ania
PS. U should try to listen Mazowsze or something.. leave poor Doda alone
) hahaha

“Why do people here r so interested in Poland? I don’t get it hehehe.. (mainly I talk about these blogs)“.
Easy… we write about Poland because we live and work here! It’s a way of sharing our experiences with our friends in Portugal!
I have seen many more Żabka stores than Biedronka because in the places where I have lived there weren’t any shops from Biedronka…
PS – Who said that I *LISTEN* to Doda?!
Of course if you have any more suggestions of Polish music I’ll be glad to give them a go!
PS2 – Thanks for reading me!

Hi,
I’m also Portuguese living in Poland (in the dirty Warsaw
)
Just to say that in fact most of the polish that i know, do not realise that Biedronka is Portuguese.
Polish people have a similar trauma/hobby as we portuguese, to complain and to say bad things about the country.
In any case Biedronka it’s really terrible and do not tell to anyone that it’s portuguese.
By the way for those that don’t know yet, in Tesco near Ursus in Warsaw, it opened a new Portuguese shop where you can by at reasonable prices cafe, Porto, Moscatel e SUPER BOCK!!!
Żywiec it’s a good beer but nothing has the same taste as a Super Bock fresquinha!
The name is Adega but i think that there is other places, for sure in Poznan.
Cheers

How are you doing?
That was a little break because of my absence
I went to a friend of mine to Gniezno, have u ever heard about this town?? No? Gniezno it’s the first capital city of Poland
hehe… so, you’re now in Krakow.. yeah it’s my best and favourite city in Poland, u know? surely much more interesting than any other.
By the way, I don’t know in what kind of music u’re interested. I can write you a list of my favourite polish artists. You can download it or something in a free moment:
# Pidżama Porno (punk rock)
# Farben Lehre (punk rock)
# MAREK GRECHUTA – number one for me! (poetry singing.. he died lately ;/)
# TSA (rock)
# Zespół Pieśni i Tańca Śląsk (folk)
# Mazowsze (folk)
# Goran Bregović & Kayah (theirs only album – absolutely awesome! famous singer from Sarajevo and our female singer.. the Portugueses I know just loved it)
+ polish classics: Dżem, Hey, Lady Pank, Lombard, Kult etc – u should get to know it if u don’t
What else.. I don’t have any other ideas right now
Yeah, generally I listen to rock/punk rock but I also love polish & russian folk music
.. explosive mixture
That would be enough then
Greetings,
Ania

to Tilleul:
There’s no doubt that Super Bock is better than Żywiec!! I agree cause I’ve tried
and I wish I could buy it here in Poznań but nothing has the same taste as… TYSKIE!!!
:D:D Piwo Tyskie rządzi na całym świecie!
haha
Best regards to you also

PS. I do not complain.. just don’t like our capital.. they think they’re always better in every case.. it’s just like between Lisboa and Porto

Ania: Yep, have been in Gniezno before. You see, my first contact with Poland was when I was an Erasmus student (in Akademia Ekonomiczna, Poznan) and back then I had all the time in world to travel and get to know this country! Thanks for the music tips!
All: Adega is actually a franchise that has several shops in Poland. The first one opened in Poznan in 2004. Soon I’ll post a TV show that was broadcasted in Portugal some months ago where they talked a lot about this.

Viva a todos,
I am spending a few days in Warsaw and would like to cook a Portuguese dinner for my hosts. Would someone be kind enough to post the address of the above mentioned Portuguese in Tesco near Ursus in Warsaw or any other shop where I can buy some bacalhau…
Obrigado!

Cumprimentos,
Tiago

Viva Tiago,
